I've been following casually yet another episode of "The Barbarian Invasions" ...
Repeatedly, during the evening, has been referred to the gesture of that madman who has outraged the Trevi Fountain for a few hours of turning it into a haunting color "red butcher."
Well, personally I found above that someone might consider the outcome of this act "beautiful." But it is. And Julian Schnabel, host of episode, probably unaware of the reasons for such a "protest," the madman has even traded for an "artist".
What I regret is that the 15 minutes of fame Warhol prophesied too often becomes hours, even days. In some cases we have seen them expand even months.

PS I had my last declaration of love in front of that fountain. But that's another story ...
